Five Day Virtual Workshop

This workshop is two hours a day for five days With an hour break for lunch. It will have all the above information and one on one mentoring. All the information in the book will be discussed thoroughly. Some jazz history and a discussion of styles will be presented. By the end of the week everyone should be able to have the knowledge needed to begin their journey into improvisation. Every participant will be given an opportunity to play at a mentoring session and/or demonstrate for the group.

Participants will receive all documentation and worksheets as well as a copy of "First Steps to Jazz Improvisation."

Students only need to have:

• An instrument.
• Be able to read music and play a few basic scales.
• An email account so materials and info can be received.
• An internet connection with any PC, Mac, Smart Phone, Tablet, etc. with a mic and camera.
• The Zoom app (Free to download.)
• Suggested, but not necessary: Ireal Pro app.
